this was a neat idea but too dark - needs midtones in my opinion.

Why a 3? Mainly becaue I had to look so many times to figure out what it was I was looking at. I think shadows are great, but in this case, they detract from the picture.

Image comes across as very dark, to where it's hard to see the detail in the photo. Even after adjusting my monitor...just in case!
