interesting subject and very balanced composition (except the black bar in the foreground though). sky possibly a bit dull. a bit more contrast would give more impact. |

Awesome picture. The foreground is a little distracting though. Great work anyway. |

i wish you had cropped out the obstruction- a distraction in an otherwise good image |

Would have been more effective if iron-work had the sky as a background, and the railing (?) was very distracting. It could have been cropped out. |

The bottom portion of the photo is a bit distracting. |

Why a 2? Because the subject (building's I presume) are being blocked by the bottom of the window, and nothing in the shot inspires me to think it's anything beyond a common snapshot. I know that probably sounds mean, and I don't mean it that way - but a submission for a contest should be inspired by something, IMHO. |

That black spot in the bottom is really disturbing, it should have been crop out. |

I think you would have been much better off cropping out the bar (or whatever it is) at the bottom. Although there is metal in this shot, it looks (maybe my monitor?) like the cross is wooden, and since that's the focus of the image I'm having a hard time relating this to the challenge. The sky seems a little blown out as well. |

what a shame the raling could not be avoided - it ruins an otherwise high scoring image |

i think you should've cropped that black blur out at the bottom. |

The bar in the foreground being so large and out of focus detracts from the rest of the photo, IMO. |

Sorry, but that line at the bottom of the photography really damages it I think. |

Might be a 10 if it weren't for the overbearing obstruction at the bottom of the photo. |

Not a bad idea. I think if you had repositioned yourself to get the cross against a simpler sky background this would be improved. As it is - the cross blends into the building. The lighting is a bit harsh (try more contrast and saturation) and maybe try cropping the blurred black foreground cross bar (or whatever that is). BOL |

I wish the bar in front were also in focus. It is a bit distracting, but overall this is a nice urban shot. Great title for this photo. |

Needs to be from a different angle and the bottom needs that black blur cropped out |

Poor composition with the foreground blur and where's the metal? |

a little more to the right to make the cross stand out a bit more would have been nice - but I don't know if the viewing platform goes there. Emotional with the glimpse of the flag. |

I like this photo....I think in my opinion that the bar running through it takes away from how powerful the photo was meant to be. |
