Very simple shot. There's an oomph factor that's missing but I can't figure out what it is. Maybe a single weed pushing itself up through it? Or something totally opposite that has fallen and is resting in it? Maybe just more contrast might help.

This is really great work. I love black and white, and you've taken what should be a dry (ha ha) subject and given it a bit of drama. Who's taking over whom, we wonder? |

In a million years this will make a great fossil as some future scientist will no doubt claim it was the bottom of an ancient ocean where megalo somethings died out due to a giant crystal meteor... or not. |

This is a lovely composition. I like the diagonal movement, and the contrast between the types of ground. The tones are nice as well. Great eye for capturing this! :o) |
