 I took this shot through my sunglasses as it created nice contrasts, ironically they're probably more expensive than filters but they may just be more versatile (that's a joke).


Silliness aside, this was shot at Llandudno in Cape Town, South Africa. This kid wandered into the shot as I was experimenting with using the glasses as an impromptu filter. I think I may have lost some sharpness as a result of the glasses, especially on the far rocks, but the shot wouldn't have been as good without them.

great shot of a sunset, but that is what it is. The title is the only thing that relates it, even remotely, to the challenge.

Lovely sunset - the child confuses me though - I cant make out his silouette. Is he looking out to sea with some kind of backpack? no, his feet are pointing inland, so he has somehing in his hands? where is his face looking then? what is his fantasy?

I think this is one of the most beautiful pictures in this challenge. In saying that, I'm trying to fit it into the challenge itself, if it was more tied to the challenge would be a winner for sure. 7 from me
