very cute - looks like a poster I would find in my 12 year old daughters room.

Can't say I recall seeing the face of a porcupine so close. Very cute with the vegetation on his nose. Generally all the pictures we see focus on their quills and not so much on their faces. This is really well done.

Tight composition works very well. A little soft in focus and color.

excellent detail... the diagonal twist of the face makes this a strong composition... nice work :) - setzler

Wonderful shot. The angle you used is great and I like the way you cropped/framed the image. Maybe you should have given it some milk though, so you would have had the change to remove that little green part of the nose. Just kidding :)

Very good. The crop is excellent. The simplicity and clarity of this photo make it very effective.

Excellent shot. I would love to know how close you actually had to get to the subject, or if you were using a zoom I would be envious of. *grin* I love the crop. The eyes are a bit dark, but understandably so, animals eyes are almost impossible to capture because they are naturally so dark.

Two hedgehogs in one contest! You can really see the soft face fur and how it contrasts with the prickles. The stuff on the nose is cute but distracting. Lovely photo.
