| Oh ick...I really dislike this photo just because of what the subject is, but I try to be fair since death is a part of life and it's reality whether we want to face it or not. One has to ask, though, what is the purpose for taken such a photo...shock value? art?...I don't know. However, enough sermon. You were brave submitting such a picture for the challenge as I'm sure most people will vote it down just for the negitive subject matter. Technically, it is not all that bad. Perhaps a little out of focus. |

Think it would have been more interesting from a lower point of view.. kind of just a boring "snapshot" the way it is..
Ya had guts though -- expect a bunch of ones and comments from people too fragile to believe squirrels actually die.. 5 |

how sad. death is part of life, but I wonder what compelled you tophotograph this.
anyway.. it has little impact being framed in the center of the photo. also, it loses any long term interest since the poor thing is dead.

| Here's one I think would be perfect in B/W. Bring out all those textures and lose the distracting little bits of green and fleshy pink. Then again, you'd lose a little 'ewww' value. I can almost smell it... |

| I hope this shot doesn't work against you, knowing the mindset of many voters. Don't get me wrong, I think it's gross, but it fits the challenge and its done very well. Furthermore, it's original and certainly captures your attention. While I wouldn't hang it on my wall, I would certainly stop and look at it on someone else's. Good job! |
