Hm, your picture looks like one of Heida's and Heida's looks like one of your's. I'm confused but either way I like both images. I'm amazed by the play of shadow and light breaking through it. It seems that the clouds themselves were having a good time! |

You're probably getting hit with comments about being oversharpened... but otherwise the lighting in this image is pretty cool. |

Great work with what likely is a much more mundate original. The clouds are distinct, dramatic, well focused and there are no overexposed areas. The way you have added a lot of viewer interest to the composition through lighting post-processing on the hillls is terrific.
This will meet the challenge for most reviewers.
The only technical flaw is the transition border between horizon and sky. It has haloing. It is common to have haloing show up when sky and ground separately have global processes applied to them. You can easily clone out that defect by selecting the sky only and expanding it a pixel or so if needed to include all the edge halloing and quickly cloning the edge to remove the defect. I always save selections by name so they can be brought back later specifically for this purpose.
Overall this is an excellent image that should score very well. |

Nice Heidafication! Really looks like an image from 'Sojourner' |

Nice shot, but I have to point out that Mars is only of the inner planets that would never have clouds in the sky :) But that's nitpicking .. again, nice shot. |

As interesting as the sky is, I think that I would have preferred to have seen more of 'Mars' |

AWESOME photo! That sky is incredible - it may be ever-so-slightly oversharpened, as the demarcation from land to sky shows as a white line on my monitor. 7 |

Stunning photo, but just a little too much sharpening, it produces a distracting glow around the outline of the mountain. Landmannalaugar? |

I like the simplicity of this. It's very basic, and very effective. Neat lighting. I hope you do well. |

Amazing light! I love the coolness of the sky against the warmth of the hills...softness against craggy. etc., etc....it really does have an otherworldly quality about it...very nice. |

wonerdful - but what is the white line running along the top of the ridge? I'll ignore it and give you a high score. |

This shot is so calm and serene. Completely what I need tonight. The shadows from the clouds realy make this shot for me....just lovely. Very very well done. |

I like this a lot. You've done a nice job turning a plain ridgeline into an other worldly feeling landscape. There are a few artifacts along the ridgeline (far left and far right) that are indicative of selective levels work. I am really struggling to get rid of these in my photos which is probably why I noticed it. Not a major distraction. |
