Caltrop - i gave a 4. I am personally not a fan of photographs of sculptures. I think you understand my hesitation, because of what you have stated in your comment.
The sky is Wonderful. Perfect in every way - i would have liked to have seen more of it - as in the photo taken in rule of thumb style - the heads in the left third and mostly sky in the other two, to give the indication that the giraffes are on the move. Right now the crop is too tight for my likelings which is why it feel into the "picture of a scuplture" rather that "Caltrops picture of metal giraffes on the run" or some such interpretation of the sculpture for me.
I have a feeling you could have upped the saturation on the red & yellow, to give the giraffes a bit more depth. With the brilliant blue
sky, i would have liked to have seen brilliantly coloured giraffes to match.
It would be interesting to see this shot taken at different times of day, to see how the suns relative position efected the apperance of the trio. Might want to check that out? |

I like this shot and think that the colors and exposure are great, I just wish I could see a bit more of the bodies. The crop just seems too tight. |

my goal is to comment on every photo in this challenge..heres urs..good luck.. this might have been a little better with the sun farther down as it looks to be about 11am or 2pm. wonderful viewpoint for these giraffe statues |
