This statue of a horse is in a parking lot in Salida, Colorado. It is pretty but the location of the statue is so ugly it was very hard to take a photograph of it rather than a snap shot. It is located in the dirt parking lot of a Mexican Restaurant/souvenir shop on the highway.

Congrats, Sammie, I like the reflections of the sky particularly--would have liked to see a bit more "neck", but understand the constraints of the site.

Good capture. I'd darken the hot spot on the nose of the horse, but I know you can't do that in basic editing. good luck.

nicely done. My biggest curiousity is what this would look like with more negative space. He looks like a wild horse that needs room to run free.
