 Just a simple shot that turned out nicely abstract and shiny :o) For those of you who can't quite work it out, it's the housing around a car headlamp shot at night, as lit by a nearby streetlamp. Konador talked me into entering this one (since I thought it might not feature enough metal), so it's officially his fault if it does poorly ;oP But hey, I like the image, so it doesn't really matter what the voters end up rating it as...

The original was rotated, cropped, double bordered, and that's it! The shot was taken handheld with exp comp -1 for added darkness.

I am rating this an 8 cuz it reminds me so much of mine. And I thought mine was really great. I really like this kind of photograph where you wonder "what is it?"

IMHO seeing more of the subject would have helped me as my poor peanut brain can not imagine what it is. Good luck

The lighting, color and contrast on this is superb, but, I'm having trouble making out what it is. Or, maybe it's an abstract?
