Shot at the Santa Anita Mall. I didn't originally see the metalic elements in this subject (I was planning another entry) but I liked the soft colors of the almonds combined with the shiny clean vending machines.

mmmmm sugar coated almonds! I gave you an 8 beckettboots. Like you i found the contrast of the shiny metal and the pastel almonds quite appealing. Having seen the original image, i would have cropped it a bit differently. A few pixels more to the left and at the bottom so the image isnt so tight to the shiny silver and i probably would have left just a bit more almons in the image.
The photo is much more interesting at an off squewed angle, and you should pride yourself on having the confidence to look at a fairly everyday item from a origial perspective.
If advanced editting were allowed, i would spot edit the little target reflections on the blue and pink almonds.Really not much else to say, as this is a very well exicuted photo.

I liked this shot and the angle. Maybe just a few pixels more on the left so the corner isn't cut off...but just a few. It seems some others didn't care for the tilt, I wonder if you tilted it the other way so the handle was horizontal if it would have made a difference (positive or negative).

The angle of the shot is distracting...
