 In daylight, I put my flute on top of its case, angling upwards. I used the macro & aperture priority setting.

I applied a "levels" adjustment layer to darken everything but the flute. Then, I boosted some of the colors with a "hue/saturation" adjustment layer. Finally, I cropped the image to get rid of some distracting elements.

Almost did a flute, too. I like the way you caught the reflected light in this one.

I like the lighting you used. Only thing I may have tried differently is to put brighter light on the top of the flute to give it a little more definition. good luck.

my goal is to comment on every photo in this challenge..heres urs..good luck..only nit pick i can find here is theres some noise in the upper left of the flute, otherwise great photo!
