very very very good but u did some things which f***ed it up for those nasty judges.
1.her hands should have been centered
2.u should have used neat image for that noise
3.higher contrast to make it more intense.

I learned this by my mistakes on dpc. Anyway a magnificent shot. or semi :P

I thought this was an exceptionally inventive image. Technically good, with a strong depth of field, good focus and a great subject.

I need to check it on another monitor, but there's a slight green tinge to it for me, that seems to give it less of a metallic look to me. The depth of field and motion blur really makes this photo pop.

I didn't vote on the whole challenge (on vacation) but I would have given you a 7.

So we are even - 6 here too. I liked the concept and thought it was interesting to look at. But I kept finding myself distracted by the lips and was always drawn to them, hence ignoring the metal aspect. Perhaps if you?? weren't wearing the red lipstick it may have helped. Perhaps I am a sucker for red lipstick. After looking at it some more (I view all entries at least three times) I found I kept looking for the top of the picture even though the whole image was on my screen. Not sure why. I thought it was I wanted to see the eyes to show the focus, but still not sure looking at it again. But yet again I found myself trying to scroll higher to see more of the image.

Too many entries for me to go through my usual rounds of voting & sorting, so I didn't vote, but did look through all the entries. I would have given you an 8, but I'm a chronic high-score-giver :-P. I remember your shot in particular out of the hundreds, which says something for sure. I like the more human, emotive, twist. When thrown in with so many cold photos of objects, it's good to see a nice pair of lips. There's nothing I don't like about your photo and it's certainly strong in the creativity department, which is an important element to me. How could it have been better? I think it may have been even better if lighting was set up to illuminate only face, hands, & glitter.

Would have given a 8 if I had had the time to vote.
Mostly excellent, especially the hit you in the face obviousness. Liked the soft focus as well - it fitted with the subject nicely.
Possibility of non metallic glitter is the spoiler for this challenge.

Overall I liked your creativity with this one. The placement of the lips etc. gives a good sense of what is happening in the image. The soft focus in the background works really well however I found the OOF foreground a bit distracting.

Thought I'd reciprocate since you were nice enough to give me a comment.

I liked this one. It made me laugh because my wife does stamping and scrapbooking, so glitter everywhere is part of my life. I thought, "Oh man, she's gonna have a mess to clean up!" Glad you had fun shooting it.

I like the blurry glitter in the air, as it makes for a nice captured action shot. The lips were in the perfect place and deliver their message immediately. The crop was perfect as well.

the most original one in all. I love this shot. I love the blotchiness in the cheeks and the lips- it adds so much to the feel of the image. Outstanding job. (10)

I like this image very much. The perspective and the focus are both very strong and the image itself is visually stimulating. My only criticism is that the "glitter" does not look very metallic to me.

I really like this picture! It would have scored high with me in the fantasy one too! Love the colours and the way you've portrayed the metal. 10
