Late 1800s schoolhouse on my grandparent's ranch.
It's now falling apart and the roof's caving in. My grandpa only uses it to store hay for his sheep and some of the fleeces until my mom can come get them and spin them into yarn to make socks. : )

Great shot for the challenge. I'm a big fan of contrast, so I probably would have bumped the contrast a bit. Other than that, I really like the subject, the framing of it with the foreground and the tree, and the overall composition. Great job!

Thanks! Actually, the schoolhouse is on a hill (and falling down, too) so I think that's what caused the tilt--but who knows, I could've just been tilting the camera on accident..
Thanks for the comment!

Very mysterious
I'm a fan of tilted images and whether you did it on purpose or not, I like the slight tilt. :-)

the b/w fro this challenge definitly adds to the obsolete theme ... i like the tones here the roof may be a little hot in a few areas - but the high contrast works well

Good composition. Something is wrong with the wood. Maybe the resolutiuon.

great subject. The large branch going accross the top of the frame is a bit distracting. Try cropping it in a bit on the top and the left edge.

Very nice. I like the way the tree frames the barn.

How much is the rent?
I really like the shot and how it is framed by the tree. I cant think of anything to improve it, nice work!

the branches of the tree distract, and the house/barn can be seen fully.

Nice shot. I like the light on the grass going up to the front of the house. 8
