 a montage of shots I took with the long lens (handheld) recently. They are extremely agile fishing birds and darned hard to capture. It doesn't show in these pictures, but they do have orange legs as well as orange beaks. Upper feathers appear pure white. Underside has the black edges.

This is a nice selection of shots of this bird or birds. I have found that a monopod hooked in my belt allows me to pan easily and very smoothly when shooting flying birds like this.
