FIRST IMPRESSION: Great choice of subject but the lighting is a bit harsh.
CHALLENGE: Meets the challenge.
COMPOSITION: I like the composition of all three shots, though as a triptych I would have personally preferred the closeup of the wheel as the center image. It would have been more balanced in terms of types of shots and lightness of the shot.
TECHNICAL: Though the exposure is good, the harsh midday light on these images leaves them seeming a bit washed-out and flat. Different light (weather conditions or even shooting earlier/later in the day) may have added visual interest to the images.
CONCLUSION: A good, promising subject that could be strengthened with a bit more attention to lighting.

| All well taken images. The center one is a bit hard to tell what it is, but the others seem pretty recognizable. Seems more like that latter half "Life of Steel", how about Rust Starts Here? It's a nice collection of shots, but I'm having a hard time getting into it. 7 Rob the Swash |

| Colors are good. The images are so busy and small, it is hard to latch onto anything. I suggest simpler subjects in each one. |

| The title doesn't really fit... better one would be: Steel Wheels. Or something like that. The shot is a little small also. |

| Good idea. The lettering needs to be bolder. How about aligning it with the bottom of the two side pictures, and as wide as the middle picture? Maybe space out the letters a bit more. The inner margins (between pictures) would be better smaller than the outer margins. |
