| I liked this shot and don't know why it didn't score higher. I like the close up, the idea and the simplicity of the composition. You did a good job on this one. |

So many people missed the point here - eventually the net will make everything snail mail obsolete, I'm sure there are millions of people that no longer write letters to post, and instead use email.
A great photo, and a great idea - unfortunately wasted one some I guess.
The DOF works fine for me, focused on the price (which is also part of the obsolete theme - mail on the net is basically free to send).
I like your style Sticky :-)
Snail mail is obsolete and only used by those unwilling to move with the times, or slow to move with the times.
The last time I posted something? hmmm about 10 minutes ago, I hit SEND! ;-)

| Well lit. But IMHO DOF is poor. Also this does not meet the challenge, postage stamps are not obsolete. |

| Color in image is its strongest point and you used it to your advantage. As a macro you did a very good job of clearing up any possible grain which often occurs in that format. The depth of field seemed to shallow in the image, though. |
