great tones. i really like the balance brought by the poles at the bottom. the runway has a tough time leading the eye to the plane. nice pic though

I think that this is a great capture, even though, being somewhat pedantic, I don't really get the impression of leading lines.

Great silhouette of the plane. Great orangey color. I'm not feeling a strong leading line here, though.

Beautiful colors and a nice image, but there are no lines to lead the eye into or through the image.

The runway hear is implied more than seen, and is therefore not a strong visual element in this photo. Aside from this what I hope is a mild critique, I love this photo.

I tried to do something similar -- but I found that I couldn't get high enough to really see the runway. I 4-wheeled right up to the airport perimeter fence and set an 8-foot ladder on the top of my chevy blazer and snapped away until airport security came out to ask what the heck I was doing. Then I didn't even wind up using the shots.

I think that, as with my shots, a higher vantage point would work better to show the runway's "leading lines" -- but I like the color in your shot.

Nice shot; I like the color of the sunset and the suggestion of runway.
