| I think that the crop (getting the edges of the frame to line up with the fence uprights) is very thoughtfully done. |

| great lighting and colors. i want to really like this pic even though the line really runs off the page...i'm still very much drawn to your focal point the door knob. the angle not being straight on just makes me uncomfortable...not sure exactly why. |

| This is a very appealing, warm & even welcoming image. Sort of a geometric abstract, but with real objects creating the shapes. Great colours, tones & textures, very good point-of-view and a meticulous crop ... all combine to create a harmonious whole. Whether it's a good example of leading lines is another matter. The several subordinate leading lines all lead to the handrail (the dominant line), which promptly dumps the viewer out of the image! However, maybe that's just MY cockeyed point-of-view. Whatever, it's a very good photograph. 8 |
