I really liked this photo and thought it would place much higher. You were right about some people not getting the 'leading lines' :/

Dramatic and lovely...no ifs or buts. A cool capture.

Nice photo, but a bit dark. I suppose the low key is supposed to suggest evening, but I still think it should be a bit lighter.

Yet another beautiful image in this challenge. One small, tiny, almost immaterial niggle: perhaps the gull on the left of the frame could have been cloned out?

Such a beautiful image... a lovely sky, stunning sun and absolutely perfect composition. However, though I'm not normally one of the "does not meet the challenge" brigade, this just doesn't conform even vaguely to my understanding of leading lines as a composition tool so it's not scoring as highly as it would in a challenge where I felt it met the theme better.

Beautifully done... the line is simple and draws you right out to the boat. The only thing I might have done differently is to flip the image horizontally so that the line starts on the left and draws you across to the right side.

Gasp. .. what a BEAUTIFUL picture! Every element of this picture are the things that really appeal to me in a picture: boats, sunsets, bird-in-flight. The ocean. I just love it.

the edging on the sun bothers me, but it's a nice composition still. The left side does feel flatter than the right, though. 6

Very nicely done. The composition is great and the colors are fantastic. One of my favorites for this challenge. 10
