All the lines lead to where the fronds extend from the trunk. This photo would be a lot more interesting if that point was in focus.

The leading line is excellent but I just dont like how it gets out of focus towards the climax of the shot. (7)

I think that perhaps I'd prefer to see the branches in sharper focus, as the trunk leads the eye upwards and when the viewer gets there, there is not as much detail as there could be.

This photo is just too busy... the first line that stands out to meis the trunk rather than the termites(?) and it leads to a bunch of palm fronds and other branches that seem OOF.

You have a very strong leading line into the tree, but I feel all the branches of the tree distract greatly from this image. Also the top of the tree should have been the focus of this photo so it should have been in focus, INHO.

the thing your title calls attention to is out of focus. smaller aperature would give you greater DOF. looks like lots of sharpening too. Also, I would prefer to see all blue behind it, so maybe wait for the cloud to go? That's a nit pick, the all blue, but it's meant to be helpful

Lighting and focus is lacking, must be sad to see destruction like this..

You have a leading line but the point the line leads you to is out of focus, leaving me to wonder why I was led there. Interesting take on the challenge!

This tree has great design and seems to be perfect for this type of shot however the focus seems to be in the middle of the trunk rather than at the top.
