Great finish Brian! I knew this would do well. It's a beautiful picture!

bleak is right - this would be more effective with vibrant colors (but who can alter the weather?). Effective use of the leading lines concept. 6

Very effective leading line, I like the tones of colour. The contrast between the smooth sand and water and the planks of the pier walkway is great.

nice shot .. it is unfortunate the sky didn't give you something more dramatic to work with.

Love it. The pier looks like it goes on forever. Beautiful beach! I can't wait to see where this one was taken.

Very nice. It would be better with no one on the bridge, but otherwise a nice, simple and effective image.

Even though it was bleak. It has a certain charm to it. Like not being all blown out. I like it, and there are enough color tone/texture differences to give it dimension.

I like the composition and colours, although I would prefer to see it somewhat sharper.

This picture is absolutely stunning! It's a perfect fit for the challenge, but a beautiful, matted and framable picture standing alone as well! I love the muted colors, and the strong leading lines in a perfect composition!! Great job!!!! 10

Good colors and sharpness, and I always love the beach :)

good leading line. I'm a bit uncomfortable with the right side of the warf not being in the bottom righ of the pict. kind of like cutting off a human's limb. i guess this would have prevented you from getting the beach. perhaps an alternative would be to shoot down on the beach looking up at the jetty
