One persons "pesky branch" is another persons leading line. I like this interesting compostion of multiple leading lines. Those branches push the eye back to the girl in my opinion. |

Love that there are 2 sets of clear intersecting lines here...nice take on challenge. |

Nice image you got here, but that tree branch in the lower left hand corner is a bit distracting. It keeps pulling my attention towards it, instead of the girl. Otherwise, very good. |

Beautiful! I like the black and white, too. One of the best I've seen in this challenge so far. |

This is wonderfully well-observed. Not only does the path lead to the subject, so do the patterns in the cobbles and the edge of the shadows. A bit of a pity about the foliage intruding into the lower left, but even that is pointing at the subject. My first reaction when I saw this was to smile at the simplicity and elegance of it. |

I might have cropped tighter on the left, put the girl right up to the border. The shadow break, and lline in the road both take the viewer to the female nicely. |

I really like this photo...the only thing is it seems a little harsh on the left...but I'm on a laptop and it may just be that. |

you got lucky that she was walking on the line... this is a great photo op, but there are a few things I'd have changed... first, the highlights in the top left are seriously blown, second, there are some distracting elements in the picture. Since this was an advanced editing challenge I'd have attempted to clone out the leaves in the bottom left. I also might have cropped tighter to get ride of more or all of the building in the top right. all in all nice, though. B/W works well here. |

I like what you did here...the only thing is that shadow line which really takes away from the impact of this photo (also the branches in the lower left). I think a different angle on this really would have given this a lot more punch. |

Lovely image. Some will quibble about the overblown highlights in front of the girl, and others about the intrusive tree branch, but it's nevertheless a very effective interpretation of the challenge topic. 7 |
