How did you get the bright light around the cross? Looks a bit unatural to me.

So true! Awsome shot, the lighting on the cross really add the "wow" factor for this image, as does the low angle from which you shot it. It looks as if it were tilting a little to the left to me though. Great job!

I really like the way the cross almost glows against the dark trees.

Considering that the composition of this shot is basically centered, I would have liked to see you more centered in the patch for taking the shot. You did line up over a mortar joint, but you are one joint off in my opinion. Basically, if you want something to be centered, make sure it is centered, otherwise everyone will notice, even if just barely off. If you want something to be off, make it enough of a break from center that people will know it was done purposefully...sorry to rant about this. I do like the central idea of your shot, and I think it is mostly well executed.

Well exposed, but the image is a little crooked and it looks like you did some serious dodging sround the cross to make it pop more and the tees seem to be out of focus. IMHO.

Leading lines to a powerful message of truth.

That's an interesting effect. Kinda a Dorothy (yellow brick road) meets God kinda thing.

overall this is a good phot that definitely meets the challenge. The blurry distorted trees are a bit distracting, but do not ruin the image. 8

idea:good
execution: poor

the horizontal lines should at least be horizontal (totally) and i'd prefer to see this from the central line. Still a 7..
