For anyone who wondered and bothers to check back, I DID NOT place that stick there. It was there, pointing at the goose, so I fired the shot.

Did a lot of cloning on the sand to remove a bunch of crap people left laying around.

good focus. the stick is more of a separate entity than an eye leader and really competes for attention with the bird.

Good use of an incomplete line. Nicely sharp, although the sand looks a little strange.It looks as though there is some colour noise there.

Great exposure, the goose has a great pose, but the stick looks like it was placed there on purpose. I'm sure it's not, but it just looks to obvious to me, IMHO.

not sure exactly if this image uses leading lines as compositional technique. Interesting duck pose.
