I wonder if this is an omen. I decide to enter the macro challenge even though I said I was sitting out. I go in to work on lines scoring and get two bug macros inna row. People beware!

| Great insect shot, but there are no leading lines...the vertical line does nothing to draw the eye. Perhaps portrait orientation might improve that problem. |

| Great macro, though it were better cropped square, eliminating most of the left side I think. Howevere, there's absolutely NO sense of leading lines here. |

not sure what the 'leading line as compositional technique' is here. Other than that, good DOF, good focus. Hate wasps but this is a good image of one. Good luck in the challenge! Had to fix the typo. Score given was 5.
