Nice oblique take on the challenge I didn't think of ... this one's certainly the best known, although I can think of a couple of other classics which would work well too.

This looks a bit oversharpened in places.

Clever composition. The frame suits the image nicely. The only distraction for me is that it looks like the sharpening damaged some of the pixels in the lower third... the transition from light to dark grey looks a tad blotchy. You've done a nice job of fitting the challenge.

A really wonderful idea for this challenge, but I don't like the grainyness of it.

I really don't like the dithering.
06/30/2005 06:00:27 PM
the dithering when saved for the web makes this look very poorly processed.

Unless you did this on purpose with the posterization, there're only like 8 shades here. It doesn't work for me.

Leading lines, yes, but are they effective? they lead my eyes straight off the pictures edge swiftly. When the eye comes to the edge of the photo, the brain says "Done, next picture please" unless there is a counter line to draw the viewer back its over.

nice idea

Posterized?

I can see why you submitted the shot. I mean I get your intention. But not for a 'leading lines' challenge.
