great idea and love the way the fencepost is so grainy looking, worn out. The only thing that detracts from your picture is the leaf in the foreground. It's so yellow and bright

Stump feels a bit oversharpened to me. Foreground leaves to left and right over power the photo.

the leaf(?) on the right corner is distracting, no details on it. maybe you should have omitted it from the photo.

Nice composition, but although old and decaying can it really cound as obselete?
