Awesome panning shot. I've been trying to do this my whole life I think. Anything faster than my kid and I can't get it halfway focused. Awesome freeze motion shot. Very very well done! - 9

Good idea, i like how you were able to catch the ambulance in motion; however this image seems a bit oversharpened. nice job though 5

Interesting effect using desaturation and the feeling of speed by the amulance. It really highlights the subject. One of my favorites this week. Good job.

Nice job of panning to keep the ambulance in sharp focus. The blurred background adds to the feeling of urgency. One thing that would make the shot even better would be to have the ambulance in the right hand part of the photo to also indicate speed.

Nice use of motion. Really fits the Transportation theme. Looks like you worked hard to get the ambulance sharp with the background motion.

Looks like a photo that could be in a National Geographic Urban Jungle article. I love how the background is smeared and appears to be black and white, it really makes the ambulance pop. Great job.

Very nice shot. Not sure how you got it so well in focus, but you succeeded in taking a very difficult picture. Great job!

Good pan. I really like that. Gives the feeling of motion and of transportation. Great take on the challenge idea.

Great pan, but I think the USM was applied too liberily. A little loss of detail would've been okay.7

I love how the ambulance is isolated from the background and is very crisp and sharp. The motion blurred background does an excellent job of representing fast motion. The choice of subject, an ambulance instead of a car/truck etc really adds to the feeling of urgency. Excellent shot!

That's a great shot!! Maybe a bit over-sharpened (see letters on ambulance) But the shot may have been a bit blurry on the car...? I tried to do some of these but couldn't get away with it. Good job on the patience and technique! - 6

Nice use of panning here! Very nice work. I think if the ambulance were in the right half of the frame, breaking the normal rules for this sort of thing, it would add to its sense of urgency. Just something to try. Good job.

Whoa! You blew me away! I love your sharp and crisp this picture is. Nice capture. I wish I could make out the background a bit more because it looks pretty. Nice job.

The less of this that's photoshopped, the more impressed I am. But it's a great photo regardless! Color, clarity, everything works.
