Greetings from CC land!

I see a fellow A40 user! Excellent. My biggest problem with this image series isn't technical. It doesn't seem to tell a story. Especially for a landlubber like me who's not exposed to harbor life. It looks like you ended up shooting on a cloudy day and as a result did not get optimal lighting for some of these shots. That gives the image an overall dark, dreery feel. It's almost like you are too far away. You have a good close-up of the water, then you have some farther shots of buildings. It might be interesting to see what happens if you get closer to the buildings and shoot at a different angle. As an example, straight up on the lighthouse.

The lighthouse is really the strongest element of this image. To create a more effective multi-image shot, I'd reccomend building the story around the lighthouse. If they let you enter the building, shoot some images from inside looking out. Get closer to the objects that tell the story about life in a harbor.

The ugly brown shot spoils this for me - it might be what you desired, but it leaves me cold :(

Nice images top left and bottom however, you'll need to boost up the contrast and light with Levels in PSP or PS7. Would really bring th images to life. Jacko.

Looks like a very sad, dirty harbor.

Good idea. The individual pictures are a bit "muddy" though. As a composition, it would benefit from being arranged in a tighter fashion.

I love everything here except the water - looks a little brown and detraicts from the brightness of the lighthouse. Still great shots!!

Nice composition. The image in the upper right doesn't quite seem to fit with the others, but it is still relevant to the overall subject.
