Greetings from CC Land!
The fact that this particular image doesn't fit this challenge aside, I like what you did here. I like the way you can see the engine under the hood, but not quite see the engine under the hood. I also like the refelctions that frame the engine.
I find the starburst effect distracting on the hood. The car showing to the left also adds a distracting element.
Very well done Photoshop job, and you also had good images to work with.

And I was totally sure this was a "guy" picture ... I'm sooo embarrased! |

looks a single extended exposure.. since the challenge was multi image composition, this image doesnt meet the challenge... even though it is a really cool shot |

Amazing, clever, well done! Only suggestion would have been to try to set the auto with a cleaner background! Great work! A solid 9! |

fascinating way of combining two images. The transparency of each is perfect. |

Clever idea. The reflections on the bonnet get in the way of seeing the engine, though. |

Nicest use of a vehicle/engine composite yet! |

Very cool. The engine looks like it's under glass almost, great job on that. But you should have cloned out the distracting stuff on the right and left. |

This has to be a guy picture! I like it very much. It's nice how you can see not only "inside" the hood, but also the reflections (sun, trees). |

not a diptych or a triptych. I guess you're going to get that a lot. |

This is a terribly well done photo manipulation. IMHO, you missed the point of this challenge (just a bit). This is soo very cool, I hate to pentalize you really, really hard, but I have to go with what I think the challenge is. 6 Rob the Swash |

Interesting, but I'm not sure that this is in the spirit of the challenge. A very creative idea though! |

this is a really creative idea, however for me the lens flares kill most of the effect |
