This little guy made a web on my front porch last night (I saw him making it), and I took this shot this morning before going to work. I actually took a lot of shots, but almost all of them were blurry. This one and one other were nice and sharp.
Post processing: crop, convert to black and white, auto levels, levels, dodge darker areas of spider, neat image, resize, unsharp mask, save for web. |

| The web showed up real well in the picture, but the spider didn't. I don't see too much detail, perhaps because of the backlighting. |

| I don't know if the B/W adds to this. there needs to be more contrast for the subject to really pop out at me. Perhaps in color it would've... Still, its a great capture. |
