 Yes these are mine, and yes I did most of my engineering math with the slide ruler and drawings with rulers, t-squares and pencils

A great shot - good composition and the colours work well - I think the frame adds to this effect.

I'm an architect andI remember these. I still have my trusty slide rule. Not too many people probably know what these are or what they're used for without the blueprints in the background. DOF could be improved and not providing a border would probably be better. 9.

Excellent photo! I like everything about it but a little bit hot (bright) on the compass. But I won't deduct for that since you didn't post a pic of Autocad R12 and say something like "Version Discontinued!" guh. :) Good luck to you.

Very nice! Yes, this method is obsolete. I remember as a girl watching my dad draft with these instrument not the many years ago ;-) I'm not sure I like the dark border...I think it would have been better to have it the color of the paper and maybe a very thin dark line if you had to have it in there. The rest is great IMO 9
