The white background is nice, I would like to see this with a black background to tone down the light some. I would not hve shot this in a natural setting because the nest would have been hard to see. I don't think that it would have stood out as well. I think that picking a solid background was a good choice.
The nest is a great idea for the theme! I agree that having a feather or cracked eggs even in the nest would be interesting but I also like it empty.
Where you positioned the nest in the frame is great too. I like how the main part is off to the side.
Overall, nice picture and I think that you did a great job. This challenge was difficult to rise to the top because of so many entries.

| I like the bird's nest, but for such a natural object, the photo feels too staged. It might have been more interesting if were in the context of a discarded background, like on the ground or something. (Hope you don't mind a constructive comment.) |
