i absolutely love the personality you have captured here. it makes my heart just melt. as a horse lover AND someone who works with racehorses i can really appreciate the reaction of children at the track. i love the eagerness of the pose and the kind look on the rider's face. the horse looks happy as well. i think it would help to have this shot in b/w to add to the emotional aspect of it and give it that classic feel, but i will admit that i'm loving the reds of the track and the bay's coat. |

How charming. It sends me back to my childhood when I hung out at the stock barn to pet the horses. Nicely done. |

This is such a sweet candid capture...how can you go wrong with little girls and ponies? ;)
I might suggest a tiny bit of contrast boost, and maybe a saturation boost of a point or two. I would also clone out the parts of the person visible next to the girls in the bottom right corner, if this was going to be printed. I can tell by the horse that the scene is level, but the angle makes the fence look like they're all tilted to the left. Not sure I'd bother trying to adjust that since it would probably just mess it up. I think it's a very neat moment captured here. Great job. :0) |
