Date Uploaded: Jun 27, 2005

 Technical: Cropped slightly, converted to grayscale then back to RGB in Photoshop CS, adjusted levels and used the Photo Filter to add a 27% sepia tone to the entire image.
Disqualification Details
You must provide your original photograph when requested. EXIF manipulation is unacceptable and will result in suspension from the site.

Too bad you DQ'ed! You could have done very well, I think. I didn't see this one during the challenge, but had the same idea. Would have given you at least a 7.

I like your subject and use of b/w which enhances the obsolete look, I would have preferred not to see the sign in the center where it obstucts the theatre sign

you can get away with the advertisement. selling homes has nothing to do with the show. But the billboard behind is very classic. I assume the drive-in has been closed for awhile. your b/w brings up the age, too. well done!

Nicely done! Definately meets challenge! I was just talking earlier today that i missed drive-in theaters. I really like how the sky "halos" the screen. 10

I thought of a drive in. So glad somebody found one to photograph. Great contrast. Nice use of lighting. Maybe taken later in the day and the shadow under the for sale sign would have been longer, creating yet another point of interest. Overall: 8
