Such a picturesque scene. Really nice lighting (although maybe just a tad bright) and the detail on the castle is good, but the detail on the grasses seems lost. Still, all in all a very good entry - I love the sky. 7

A tigher crop on the castle that cut out the person and I would have scored it a little higher. On second thought, the long view makes it seem a little more desolate and obsolete, but the person still distracts.

By the look of the cloudless sky it seems you were at Bamburgh the same time I was at Dunstanburgh. Dirtier sand though

Obsolete, broken, discarded, outgrown or forgotten does not come to mind. I need to be convinced on this one. Otherwise a bit light. A nice landscape. Pity about the person in the foreground, rather distracting. A cropping of just the knoll and castle would have been nice as well.

The person in the lower left hand corner really throws the shot off.... also if you were closer I think the shot would have been better. But I really love the subject.

Castles are tough to shoot in bright light. I think with softer light, sharper focus and a closer crop, this would be a really nice image.

overuse of sharpen has caused halo effect - especially noticable on the left edges that were in shadow. Good colour & ok composition. Shifting the camera slightly to the left would have given you more negative space on the left, implying fading out, and wouldn't have caused the person to stand out so much.

Beutiful picture. I love photos that not only meet the challenge, but offer you something appealing to look at as well. Great job.
