| If the topic were something other than 'transportation,' I would rate this higher, as it is a *very* pretty image. However, the topic is transport, and I don't feel this fits. |

| Okay, the point of DP challenge is to take a really awesome picture that fits the challenge, not take an awesome picture and think of some clever way to get it to fit the challenge. I'm sure you've heard this crititcism by now, though. With that said, this is a really cool picture. I get the chills just looking at it and it puts me in the mood for halloween. I like your composition and color and the way you've captured this. Nice job, but I never score over 6 if it doesn't fit the challenge in any way. |

| I dont care if this doesnt fit the catagory this is a stunning photo!! Still, to win this competition you have to meet the genre, and in my opinion it does not.. 10 for the photo.. now a 8 because it doesnt fit the competiton. |

| Intresting photo! Graduated pink filter? I would have cropped out some of the foreground grass, or ideally, used a wider lens and come closer to the tree. Connection to challenge topic is a little teneous, but still a really nice photo... |

| far be it for me to be a "literal minded voter" but...this is too liberal of an interpretation of the challenge. Take your score with a grain of salt, I suspect it will depressed because of it. A good job of capturing the etheralness of the fog though. |

| Whilst it is a good composition I am not sure it is within the ' spirit ' of the contest subject. Then again art is flexible and open to intpretation |

| good metaphor .. i like the soft colors / fog combo but I don't know, that dryad-ish looking tree is almost too centered.... but then the road on the side works.... |

| This is a very effective shot, but a stretch to be called transportation. Better described as what is left after the final transport has taken place. |

| plenty of atmosphere and a lovely landscape in its own right, but not a transportation picture, a journey or a destination picture prehaps, but not transport. |
