 Simply an unusual subject (with no creative input from me), so no attempt to win the challenge here.

I just really like this little igloo-like 'Ice Well' built at the turn of the last century. It was normally covered in mud to assist the effectiveness of the cooling and was probably used to supply ice and cold foods to The Savoy Hotel in London.

I did shoot this close up but it removed the woodland context which adds to its oddity.

NIce subject, but the lighting is not too flattering. It would be nice to see what this looks like under very early morning/late evening light, and in monochrome. (Sepia or b/w for e.g.)

I think cropping and brighting could make this a bit more dramatic ... this looks very much like a snapshot.

very nice. I would suggest next time to try for a different point of view so you dont have a tree growing out of the top of the brick dome.

I really learned something from this shot. I had no idea that at one time such a structure was used to keep things cool. Your detail is really nice, and the moss on the brick puts its age into perspective. Lighting is dim which adds a softness to your image. I give it a 9
