Thanks for all the comments. I wish I could have spot edited the small dots from the darkness...I know it looks like dust, but it is actually noise from the arm swinging. |

The lighting behind the metronome is quite beautiful. So is the lighting of the metronome is as well. That little triangle of light in the upper right corner seems a little distracting. |

Nice take on a certainly antiquated (altho still used) method. I used to use a metronome every day when practicing the piano throughout my childhood. I like the colors and the overall composition, but the angle of the metronome is a little "off" to me and the blurred image of the pendulum is a bit of a distraction - might have been better to have one strong position highlighted. Still, overall a very unique and strong entry in this challenge. 6 |

Don't they still use these? I like the contrast between the orange and dark baground with the dark subject. the moving arm is a little distracting and might have looked better in a fixed postiion, however it must have been either luck or a lot of pictures getting the full arc of the arm in the shot.
