For the life of me I cant understand why people do this. How are those pins fastened inside? Just sad that people resort to this for the sake of fashion.

Would be stronger without the visible pen lines which were presumably added as an aide to positioning the pins?
Focus is soft at the left - DOF too shallow (in my opinion) for this pic.

Really a strong image. The zig zag of the ribbon in the lacing is a nice contrast to the skin tones. Maybe work on the focusing a little to the left side of the figure.
