good lighting and a nice shot. not sure if you noticed, but when you scroll the photo page up and down real fast it is a weired effect....

very good techiically...nice use of shallow depth of field and b/w. side lighting is very effective here for texture. subject interest...ok.

So simple but wonderful. DOF isn't TOO shallow which is nice, and the image is nice and sharp. Would be a good entry for the circle challenge too, BTW!

I like the simplicity and the rhythm of this shot, not to mention the originality.
