| Happy birthday Rob, but sorry, this photo has no business being in a photo competition. Other then the angle, this is nothing more then a party snapshot. Note, eight other people will say the same thing, but next time use the full 640pix allowed. |

| I like the angle that this nicely decorated cake was taken at. More interesting then a straight on shot. You need a little more lighting, however. The colors do not stand out very well and makes the picture a little dull and flat. Also, you should have moved the cake more to the middle of the table so you would have a complete background. ...And lastly, needs better focus. |

| In order for the voters to be able to give you a really well-thought-out comment and vote, your entry needs to be large enough for us to make out the details. I cannot tell if it is out of focus or overexposed, but the apparent lack of contrast in color and shadow leads me to believe that there is something out of whack, I just can't quite tell what. |

| Focus could be better, as well as the point of view so you did not have that dark sliver along the top left. A photo where the candels are lit would also have more of an impact. |
