 I was going for something a little different from flowers and insect macros with this. Mostly because my flower macro wasn't up to the job. This is about 1:1 so I hope it qualifies as a macro.

Lighting is a single desk halogen. I used a crinkly surface underneath and some fluff on the egg's head to add texture, shooting with the BW in mind.

The egg is being interograted in a BW crime movie. He's about to crack. :D

I'm a little disappointed that this did
so badly :(
I suppose that's a combo of the strong shadow that cuts off the left arm completely on some monitors, and the fact that it's a close up and not a strict macro. Oh well! Onwards and upwards!

Aaw... I want it... I want it! (I collect egg cups so I'm probably biased but I think this is adorable). Lighting could be more even and the surface of the table isn't too attractive but... cute!!!
