Macro Flowers on Fire! I like this a lot. especially the use of dof and the colours.

Great colors. The pistils stand out perfectly with the yellow bits precisely in the orange-red background.

Classic use of shallow DOF in a flower macro, with outstanding composition and deep rich colors. Really nicely done.

Nice colors. Good capture and nicely focused. Interesting perspective in a challenge full of simular shots. The wide white border stands out more than the picture.

Nice image. I really like borders, the funkier the better IMHO but this might be a little excessive. Not sure if it adds to the shot. Nice colors and I like the tight crop.

8 - Oh nice. Nice colors, nice warmth. I do not know if that blur at the base of the stamens is pp or not, and although it does enhance the stamens, I am not sure on it. This is like a little fire, with 'odd' matches, very nice.

Lovely shallow DOF makes the petals seem like a painted backdrop to the stamens. Lovely composition with green V backdrop working very well to point attention down to stamens.
