| Very interesting and visually appealing textures, patterns, & color tones. Great focus too. I instantly thought of a field of pumpkins when I saw this shot - funny how some things come to mind. Certainly has a very "autumn" feel to it. Nice shot. |

I like the warm rich tones, although I see I only voted this a 3 in the challenge! :(

| Great abstract with excellent detail. Like the colors and the lighting as well. Now I know it is probably not, but it looks upside down to me. The I think the if this was rotated 180 degrees that you may have a stronger image. THe areas that are not as focused would be at the bottome and I think even the diagonal pattern would stand out more. Great idea for the challenge and a very fine shot. |

| I like the way this photo makes us notice things we don't normally see when we look at a pineapple. A very good use of macro. Feels a little dark and has a bit too much of a yellow cast. |

| A little more work on levels and saturation could really improve this one. The eye just seems to get lost, and being a little flat dosn't help. |

oh, I have the exact same picture taken a few days back for my photoaday :)
I would have liked more light from the left, may be use a white cardboard/paper reflector on left.. |

| 8 - Yes. Very good. Looks like a stack of pumpkins. Nice colors, but for me, perhaps a touch more - yellow? Good concept. Good detail. Good macro. |

| I love the rich warm colors. THe lighting is nice but overall, it doesn't have a focal point. My eye just wanders around, trying to find something to land on. Maybe it would be more effective for me if you had zoomed in on one or two of them, so we could see the details. Maybe your camera isn't equipped for that. In that case, I understand. |
