 There were about a hundred of these little dragonflies in a pound, they are about 3 inches long and real thin. I got some in flight but the wings were so clear you couldn't see them very well, so I went with this guy.

The electric blue really jumps off the screen. Great detail where it counts. Two factors that could have made your great image better... less distracting background and extended wings (both probably out of your control however). Nice work.

Perfect detailing on this guy. I think this is one of my favorite dragon fly shot. Nice coloration.

Beautiful colors and I like that you can see the details on the wings and the hair near the head. And the background in nicely out of focus. Well done!

Love the blue and the constrasting yellow (those two colors always work well together). The one thing that, for me, would have made this image stronger would have been to look at the dragonfly from the front. Good luck!
