 After taking a bunch of photos of different things I realized I didn't know how to take a macro. Reading the Instruction manual and playing in my truck, I came up with this baseball photo. Photo was taken in super macro mode with a 4x magnifying lens on the converter. I cropped adjusted levels and brightness contrast and saturation. I sharpened resized and saved for web!

it took me a long time to under stand what that was.. not until i read your comment :) this is a very nice photo and a really good angle, only thing i can see is maybe a bit to much DOF but nothing that hurts it much :) nice job

very nice colors, the only knock in the executionis the variation in the backround that seems random. A small quibble in a fine shot.

It's nice to see some originality in a challenge full of flowers and bugs. Nicely focused. Perhaps a bit harsh on lighting.

EXCELLENT macro! Nice line...I like that the seam runs on a diagonal. Sharp...love that you can see the red fibers. Fun.

Nice job. Glad this was one of my outtakes. I hand an image almost exactly like this, and desided against it, cus I thought my other idea was better. Not sure if it is, but at least there were not duplicate images. This is very nicely done. Great detail in the threads, the seam, and even the shadows inside the holes. The vibrant red jumps off the page with the white and black backgrounds (My background was green). Good luck. <8>
