Hi
Thansk for the comments and the help etc. Great site to drive the amition and inspiration!
Hi Chez...
This is an excellent composition... the architecture and lines/shapes/patterns present in this image are strong... the color is also very strong. The transportation theme is also met with little difficulty in this image.
The only thing I see wrong here is the softness of the image. I would love to see this sharp and crystal clear. I think you can probalby improve it with the sharpen filter in photoshop.. maybe play with the unsharp mask a little as well...
Great shot and keep up the good work :)

Great colours, ie. blue and rust. However the image seems a bit soft. Good job at removing a lot of the surrounding clutter. |

while this is a good photo it needs to be a bit sharper. |

Good shot but looks a little fuzzy maybe a touch of unsharpmask would have helped. |

There is much of interest to look at here, I would prefer the sun on this side, but perhaps you could not access that area. |

This would have been really effective if the focus were better... |

I think a quick little USM would probably have fixed the focus problem here, and perhaps a slightly different angle on your subject would have lit up that dark right side so we could get all the details of the ship. :) |

I wish this wonderfully composed shot was more in focus. It's such a great idea with fantastic lines and contrasts. |

Good composition and contrast.
Depth of field is a little shallow or the focus is not sharp. The landscape mode on the camera or setting the aperture to the smallest possible (largest number) would help for this type of image. If focus is the issue then using a faster shutter speed or a tripod and the self timer/remote would help keep the image in sharp focus. Even the pushing of the shutter button can move the camera enough to put an image out of focus. |

Some detail seems sharp, some looks blurred (on the ship) why? |

refreshing. finally after going thru voting, someone shot a transportation pic that does not transport humans! kudos for the idea |
