 Taken July 4th 2005 with my family at a local fireworks display; I don't expect much in the way of votes on this but I was playing around with shutter speeds and this one turned out the best.

I wanted to try another setup shot like the one I did for metal but I just didn't have time and my wife thought this would make a good submission so I went for it. I really had fun taking this photo the fireworks display was amazing!

Great fireworks capture! I've heard about the fireworks at Murray Park but haven't even gone to seem them. All around very nice for a firework!

Thanks for all the great comments and feed back. I know there were a number of fireworks shot in this challenge and I feel that it hurt my chances for a better score. Overall I'm happy with the outcome seeing this is only the second time I've entered any type of photo contest! It was still a lot of fun to shoot and Iâm looking forward to the next challenge!

For this contest everyone who has the word âcircleâ in their title is getting a lower score. This is a copy and paste version that I am including in every photo that I downgrade due to the title. We as members of DPchallenge know the topic of the challenge â we do not need to reread the topic every time we reach a photo. If circle is in the title and it is appropriate I will most likely not down grade, but it better be good. I am sorry if you do not agree with my method of protest â but scores are all I have.

Beautiful fireworks shot. I'm very impressed. Nice focus and clarity. I like the red glow on the smoke and/or clouds. Good job...I hope you are scoring well in this challenge.
